There are two types of pultrusion tubes. One type is for live line tools and other applications with round, oval and rectangular shapes. Features: good insulation performance, high mechanical strength,light weight,good appearce.
Anothother type is for hollow insulators.Features: inner surface can be assembled with different types of wires, cables, optical fibers and other materials,high mechanical strength, good insulation performance. It is already used in suspension and post insulators for optical current transfomers.
